Sector detail
The strongest case for gaseous generation, because the fuel is often already on site. Wellhead gas and coal-bed methane that would otherwise be flared or sold at a discount becomes the cheapest kilowatt on the lease.
The interconnect queue is the constraint, not the building. Bridge power lets the facility energize and earn while the utility works through its process, then the same plant runs grid-parallel for peak support or contracted capacity.
Camp, process and exploration load at the end of a haul road, where every litre of diesel carries a freight bill on top of the commodity price. Propane and LNG change that arithmetic, and cut the service trips that cost the most to make.
Communities running on legacy diesel plant carry the worst of every trade-off, high fuel cost, constant service, noise, and a fuel-spill risk sitting next to where people live. A gaseous plant addresses all four at once.
